Multiple reports are coming in from Port Orange Florida of strong Flounder runs. Many anglers are reporting catching as many as 5-10 an hour, these Flounder are not the largest recorded, but they are legal fish, averaging around 13-18″.
Most reports state the fish were caught on a jig bummed along the bottom.

Quick Tips:
- Flounder are ambush predators, so get the bait/lure near them (dont expect them to come to you)
- Current minimum size is 12″s in Florida (written 4/11/14)
- Flounder are good at flipping off a hook while being raised out of the water, if you can net them, do so, if not, make sure the flounder is tiered before attempting to lift over the rail.
